Bevreti & Lisi Bike Tour from Tbilisi: Full day of climbs & descents
If you’re looking for a shuttle and a downhill coast, this isn't it. This is 50km of pure pedaling. We start from our - Tandro's location, climb deep into the Trialeti Range, and hit the high-altitude trails before looping back via Lisi Lake. It’s a big day in the saddle for riders who want to earn the views.
The Route Breakdown
-
The City Exit & The Climb: We leave the Tbilisi pavement behind and head straight for the mountains. You’ll feel the air change as we climb toward the village of Bevreti. It’s a solid grind, but it gets you away from the noise and into the mountain settlement silence.
-
The Trialeti Ridge: This is the highlight. We ride the spine of the hills between Mskhaldidi and Mukhattskaro. On your left, you’ve got the Caucasus Mountains on the horizon and on your right, the entire Tbilisi valley.
-
The High Plateau: We cross the open plateau tracks - fast gravel and rugged shepherd paths passing the Bevreti Monastery area before starting the long descent-ride back into Tbilisi via Lisi Lake.
-
The Finish at Lisi: We finish the 50km loop at Lisi Lake. It’s the local spot for a reason. Perfect for a victory lap around the water and a cold drink before we roll back into the Tbilisi to finish the bike tour.
Why Ride with Tandro?
-
No Shuttles, No Shortcuts: We’re one of the only outfits in Georgia offering the full 50km loop start-to-finish by bike.
-
The Right Gear: 50km of mountain terrain is no joke. We provide high-spec MTBs or premium Bosch/Yamaha-powered E-bikes. If you want to enjoy the 600m+ of climbing without getting a hard fitness challenge, the E-bike is the tool for the job. Of course, our E-bikes also have low-assistance (eco) modes, so if a hard challenge is what you want, you have all the tools.
-
Local Intelligence: These trails are a maze of old Soviet tracks and grazing paths. We know the exact lines that flow, so you spend your time riding, following the guide, not looking at confusing off-road maps.
