8-Day Version — Svaneti + Racha Wine Extension. Mountain roads, Svan towers, wine, and food across Upper Svaneti, Lower Svaneti, Lechkhumi, and Racha.
Full Itinerary
Day 1
We transfer by vehicle from Kutaisi to Jvari, then get on the bikes for the first ride of the tour toward Zugdidi. A gentle, easy-paced start — perfect for adjusting to your bike, checking equipment, and settling into the group before the mountains begin.
Day 2
A transfer from Zugdidi through Samegrelo back to Jvari, then we continue riding deeper into the Enguri valley toward Letsperi. The road begins to climb gently as Svaneti's peaks come into view, setting the stage for the days ahead.
Day 3
The big climb of the tour. We ride from Letsperi into the heart of Upper Svaneti, with the road growing more dramatic at every turn — mountain valleys, rivers, remote villages, and the first Svan defense towers appear as we approach Mestia.
Day 4
A full day to enjoy Mestia itself. A relaxed ride around the surrounding villages, viewpoints, and Svan towers, with time for cultural stops and to properly rest the legs before the bigger days ahead in Upper Svaneti.
Day 5
One of the most memorable rides in Georgia. We follow the valley road up toward Ushguli, one of the highest continuously inhabited settlements in Europe, with Mount Shkhara and its glaciers as a constant backdrop.
Day 6
A long and rewarding descent from Ushguli down to Lentekhi, leaving Upper Svaneti behind. From Lentekhi we transfer by vehicle to Ambrolauri, crossing into the Racha region and marking the start of the wine leg of the journey.
Day 7
A dedicated Racha day. A relaxed ride through the Ambrolauri area and surrounding villages, with quiet roads, green valleys, and vineyards. In the evening, a wine dinner featuring local Racha wines such as Khvanchkara and Usakhelouri, paired with traditional food.
Day 8
The final day. A transfer from Ambrolauri to Alpana, then we get back on the bikes for the last ride of the tour, down into Kutaisi on the scenic road connecting the regions, passing Tvishi — home of the naturally semi-sweet white wine of the same name.
Best for: guests who want the complete version — Svaneti, Lower Svaneti, Lechkhumi, Racha, mountain roads, wine, food, and enough time for the route to feel comfortable and premium.

A hardtail bike is included in the tour. If you'd like an e-bike, full-suspension e-bike, or gravel bike, please contact us.
Book This Tour ↗A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your place on the tour. The remaining balance is due before the start of the trip.
Price is based on 6 participants. Groups of 4–5 may need a $250–400/person supplement — you'll be notified in advance, with a full refund option if you'd rather not continue.
Minimum 4 participants to run. Below that, Tandro Bikes may cancel with a full refund of all payments, including the deposit. Departure is confirmed at least 30 days before the start date.
Flights, insurance, and other personal expenses aren't included. Book flexible travel until departure is confirmed — refunds can also be transferred to another Tandro Bikes tour, rental, or trip.
