Zekari Pass & Borjomi Bike Tour: 3 Days of Pure Riding

If you want to skip the tourist crowds in the north and get on a bike in the real Georgia, this is the one. This 3-day tour is for riders who want long descents, fun rides, and zero "tourist traps".

The Tandro Bike Setup:

• The Bikes: We provide high-spec Mountain Bikes (MTB) and Bosch/Yamaha E-Bikes.

• The Power: Our E-bikes feature 500Wh batteries and Bosch/Yamaha systems.

• 4x4 Support: Our support truck follows with spare parts, extra batteries, and your gear.

Day-by-Day Ride Plan

Day 1: The Zekari Pass Descent - We load the bikes onto the 4x4 and shuttle to the top of Zekari Pass (2000m+). We unload the bikes at the summit, and then it’s all downhill. We'll descend 1,200m on rugged mountain gravel roads down through Abastumani and into Akhaltsikhe.

Day 2: Akhaltsikhe to Borjomi. This is a mix of asphalt and gravel descent following the Kura River. It’s a fast-paced day through the canyons. Great for seeing the landscapes from a bike.

Day 3: Borjomi Bike Ride (MTB or Leisure) Today is flexible.

• Option A (MTB Singletrack): For experienced riders, we hit the trails in the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park. Deep forest climbs and flowing descents.

• Option B (Leisure Ride): If you've had enough dirt, take a scenic asphalt ride to the Borjomi Sulfur Baths or the Green Monastery. After the ride, we pack the bikes and head back to Kutaisi or Tbilisi.
