The itinerary:​

Day 1: The Imereti Warm-up (Kutaisi to Martvili)

Your journey begins in Kutaisi, the heart of Western Georgia. After a fitting of your bike, we head to Martvili Canyon. We skip the tourist crowds and ride the rolling gravel backroads through the emerald Colchic forests. It’s a 30km introduction to Georgian terrain before we transfer toward the mountains.​​

Day 2: The Gateway to the Giants (Enguri Dam)

We unload the bikes at the Enguri Dam, one of the world’s highest arch dams. From here, you’ll ride the scenic old road sections toward Khaishi.  Feel the air as the Nakra & Enguri rivers guide you into the Svaneti range.​

Day 3: The Koruldi Lakes Challenge (Mestia)

This is where the E-bikes help. We tackle the climb from Mestia to the Koruldi Lakes (2,850m). This is a technical, high-altitude ascent with a 1,400m vertical gain. You’ll stand directly at Mount Ushba. The descent is a 15km trail back into Mestia, passing 9th-century Svan towers, which are a famous symbol of Georgia and it's history​

Day 4: The Tower Road (Mestia to Ushguli)

The iconic 45km ride to Ushguli, the highest continuously inhabited settlement in Europe. We navigate a mix of newly paved sections and the "classic" gravel paths through the villages of Mulakhi and Ipari. With Tandro’s support van nearby, you can focus on the views of Mount Tetnuldi.​

Day 5: Shkhara Glacier & The Zagari Pass

We ride to the base of the Shkhara Glacier, where the Enguri river starts. In the afternoon, we tackle the Zagari Pass, the high-altitude gateway between Upper & Lower Svaneti. This is where you'll feel the real Caucasus.​

Day 6: The Endless Downhill (Lower Svaneti)

Prepare your brakes. Today is a massive descent from the pass down into the Lentekhi valley. You’ll drop over 1,500 meters through changing climate zones, from alpine to lush river valleys. This is a 50km "gravity day" that few cyclists ever experience.​

Day 7: Tskaltubo & Return

We roll through the abandoned Soviet-era spa architecture of Tskaltubo on our way back to Kutaisi. A final flat-land sprint to celebrate the completion of the Svaneti loop. Your mission is complete, the Caucasus has been explored.
